User Account Control when Installing Chrome 31
Why I am getting the User Account Control dialog box when trying to install Google Chrome 31 on my Windows system?
✍: FYIcenter.com
If you start your Windows system with a non-Administrator
account and try to install Google Chrome 31,
you will get this User Account Control dialog box displaying
this messages:
Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer? Program name: Google Update Setup Verified publisher: Google Inc File origin: Hard drive on this computer [Yes] [No]
Your windows system is warning you that "Google Update Setup" is about run to start download and install Google Chrome. And it requires an "Administrator" permission to continue.
If your have "Administrator" privilege, click "Yes" to continue. If you don't have, you need to enter Administrator's password to continue.
The User Account Control dialog box looks like this:
⇒ Opening ChromeSetup.exe when Installing Chrome 31
⇐ Install Google Chrome 31 on Windows
