A

When you schedule a new meeting, you may see this error in the participants field: "you don't have permission to create private meetings".

The main reason of getting this error is that your Microsoft Teams app used to have a valid license to schedule a meeting, and now it is not able get the license from the Microsoft server. This may be caused by these reasons:

  • Your admin has transferred your license to someone else.
  • Your license has beenn expired.
  • Your license was expired and renewed now. But Teams app failed to synchronize the license information. Re-install Teams app will resolve this issue.
