How to change the setting for startup home page in Google Chrome 61?

Startup home page is a very important setting in Google Chrome. It determines the first Website you will see each time you start Google Chrome.

If you want to change the current startup home setting in Google Chrome 61 to your preferred Website, or blank page, you can follow this tutorial.

1. Run Google Chrome.

2. Click the menu icon at the top right corner, and select "Settings" from the menu. You see the "chrome://settings" page showing up.

3. Click the menu icon at the top left corner, and select "On Startup" from the menu. You see the "On Startup" setting section displayed in collapsed mode.

4. Click the little triangle on the right side to open the "On Startup" setting section:

( ) Open the New Tab page
( ) Continue where you left off
(*) Open a specific page or set of pages.

5. Select "Open a specific page or set of pages", and enter "https://google.com" as the startup page.

Setting "google.com" as the startup home page is a good choice, since Google search page is a fast and simple page.
