A

Creating an email folder in an Outlook Data File (.pst) in Outlook 2010 can be done in 4 steps:

1. Run Outlook and open the Outlook Data File. A new entry shows up in the navigation pane on the left side with the internal name of the data file.

2. Right-mouse click on the data file name, for example "Invoices", and select the "New Folder..." entry from the context menu. The "Create New Folder" dialog box shows up.

3. Enters a name for the folder, like "2014 Invoices". Make sure that "Mail and Post Items" is selected in the "Folder contains" field.

4. Click "OK". A new email folder is created in the Outlook Data File.
