Creating an Email Folder in an Outlook 2010 Data File
How can I create an email folder in an Outlook Data File (.pst) to store email messages in Microsoft Office Outlook 2010?

Creating an email folder in an Outlook Data File (.pst) in Outlook 2010 can be done in 4 steps:
1. Run Outlook and open the Outlook Data File. A new entry shows up in the navigation pane on the left side with the internal name of the data file.
2. Right-mouse click on the data file name, for example "Invoices", and select the "New Folder..." entry from the context menu. The "Create New Folder" dialog box shows up.
3. Enters a name for the folder, like "2014 Invoices". Make sure that "Mail and Post Items" is selected in the "Folder contains" field.
4. Click "OK". A new email folder is created in the Outlook Data File.
