How to create a new blank XML file with FrameMaker?

You can follow this tutorial to create a new blank XML file with FrameMaker.

1. Start FrameMaker.

2. Click "File > New > XML" menu. You see "New XML" screen.

3. Select "Other XML > Empty XML" and click "OK". You see a blank XML document displayed.

4. Type in "Hello world!". You don't see any XML elements in the document, because you are the WYSIWYG view mode by default.

5. Click on the "XML View" icon in the menu bar and next to the search icon. You see the XML elements now.

Continue to enter more XML elements.
