Installing R Software Environment on Windows is very simple as shown

1. Go to R Project Website.
2. Click the "CRAN mirror" in the "Getting Started" section. You see a list of mirror sites.
3. Select a mirror site near your location. You see "The Comprehensive R Archive Network" page.
4. Click "Download R for Windows" link. You see the "R for Windows" page.
5. Click "base" link. You see the "R-4.0.5 for Windows (32/64 bit)" page.
6. Click "Download R 4.0.5 for Windows" to download the R binary package.
7. Double-click on the downloaded file "R-4.0.5-win.exe" to start the installation.
8. Finish the installation process.
9. Click "R x64 4.0.5" in the "Start > Applications" list. You see the "R Console" window.
10. Type in 'print("Hello, world!")' statement and press "Enter". You see the "Hello, world!" message printed out on the console.
