What Is Ethernet Hub
What Is an Ethernet Hub?

An Ethernet Hub is a dummy device for LAN (Local Area Network) that simply forwards any incoming traffic from a single port to all other ports on the device.
The network traffic pattern on an Ethernet Hub is shown on the top left of the picture below:
You can use an Ethernet Hub to connect several devices to form a standalone LAN.
Here is an example of Ethernet Hub: Netgear EN104.
