The I/O performance of reading and writing 64-KB files
of a PNY Attaché Flash Drive (256 MB capacity) can be
measured by running SQLIO with multiple 64-KB blocks with a large
stripe factor.
Here is the read performance test of PNY Attaché Flash Drive (256 MB capacity) with 64-KB blocks.

As you can see, in the simulation of multiple 64-KB file I/O, reading speed is 4.63 MBs/sec, and writing speed is 1.23 MBs/sec. So for a PNY Attaché Flash Drive, reading is about 4 times faster than writing.
