The average I/O performance of a flash drive can be
measured by running SQLIO with multiple 64-KB blocks with a large
stripe factor.
Here is the read performance test of SanDisk Cruzer Blade 32GB Flash Drive on 64-KB blocks.

As you can see, in the simulation of multiple 64-KB file I/O, reading speed is 14.96 MBs/sec, and writing speed is 3.89 MBs/sec. Like most USB flash drive, reading is much faster than writing on SanDisk Cruzer Blade 32GB Flash Drive.
