How to manage layers in OpenOffice Draw?

You can follow this tutorial to manage layers in OpenOffice Draw.

Right-mouse click on the layer tab bar below the editing area. You see the context menu with these options:

Insert Layer - Allows you to insert a new empty layer.
Modify Layer - Allows you to modify the selected layer behavior flags: Visible, Printable, and Locked.
Delete Layer - Allows you to delete the selected layer. All objects in that layer are deleted too.
Rename Layer - Allows you to the name of the selected layer.

Note that you are not allowed to delete those 3 default layers: Layout, Controls, and Demension Lines.
