How to block popup ads in Mozilla Firefox 2?

If you are getting a lots of popup ads, and want to block them when using Mozilla Firefox 2, you can follow this tutorial.
1. Click the "Menu > Options" icon from the top right corner of the window. You see the "about:preferences" page showing up.
2. Click the "Content" tab on the left side. Review options in the "Pop-ups" section.
3. Check the "Block pop-up windows" checkbox.
