How to apply a character style in Microsoft Word? I want to emphasize few words in a paragraph.

Apply a character style to a sequence of characters in a paragraph in Word is easy.
You can follow these steps:
1. Press mouse down to select the sequence of characters in a paragraph where you want to apply.
2. Open the "Home" menu tab. You should some styles listed in the "Styles" section of the menu.
3. Click the style name (like Emphasis) you want to use from the "Styles" section of the menu. The selected style will be applied to the selected characters of the paragraph.
4. Click the more icon at the bottom right corner of the "Styles" section to see the full list of styles.
