Yes, you can easily create a show file from a presentation file with PowerPoint in 4 steps. A PowerPoint show file contains the same content as the original presentation file. But it only be opened in show mode.

1. Open your presentation file (extension .pptx) in Office PowerPoint.

2. Click the File menu, then click Save As menu item. You will see the "Save As" box showing up.

3. In the "Save as type:" field, select "PowerPoint Show (*.ppsx)" option from the dropdown list.
