What image resolution is used when saving a PowerPoint presentation to image files?

PowerPoint uses a resolution of 96 DPI (Dot Per Inch) when converting
slides to image files using the "Save As" function.
If your slide size is 10 x 7.5 inches (4:3 ratio), the output image size will 960 x 720 dots (pixels).
If your slide size is 13.333 x 7.5 inches (16:9 ratio), the output image size will 1280 x 720 dots (pixels).
