✍: FYIcenter.com
You can find your friends by their names, employers or schools
on LinkedIn and send connect requests to them as shown below:
1. Sign in to your LinkedIn account and go to the home page of your account.
2. Enter a keyword in the search box near the top left corner of the page like first name, last name, company name, school name, or job title. You see a list of people who match your search keyword.
3. Scroll down and locate your friend in the list.
4. Click the "Connect" button, if you see it displayed next to the profile.
5. Click on the profile name to open it, if you don't see the "Connect" button. Then click the "More" button and select "Connect".
6. Click "Add a note" on the Connect request. Then click "Send" to send out the connect request.
7. Wait for your friend to accept your connection request.
