How to change the setting for startup home page in Google Chrome 55?

Startup home page is a very important setting in Google Chrome. It determines the first Website you will see each time you start Google Chrome.

If you want to change the current startup home setting in Google Chrome 55 to your preferred Website, or blank page, you can follow this tutorial.

1. Run Google Chrome.

2. Click the "! > Settings" icon menu from the top right corner of the window. You see the "chrome://settings" page showing up.

3. Review and modify the "On startup" options:

( ) Open the New Tab page
( ) Continue where you left off
(*) Open a specific page or set of pages. [Set pages]

4. Select "Open a specific page or set of pages" and click "Set pages" link. You see the "Startup pages" popup.

5. Enter "google.com" as the startup page URL and click "OK".
